Chairman's Welcome Remarks
Hello,
A detailed feasibility study has been conducted on the establishment of a College of Tooling Design Technology with bias on Technological knowledge importation in the area of TOOLING DESIGN. My several visits to some cities of India including Bangalore, Chennai, New Delhi, Hydrated, Mumbai, Pondicherry, etc and my several interactions with my friends who are tool designers has made me know beyond doubt that my country needs as many tool designers as possible to realize our national dreams of technological advancement. Therefore, eighteen years ago (2006) to be precise the idea of establishing a College of Tool Designing Technology in Nigeria with bias on Tool Designing Technology came into my mind and I shared the thought with my Indian Tool Designing friends who welcomed it and pledged to technical co-operation. Today I am more convinced that the time has come to see this idea become a reality. The college will also offer courses in related areas of technological studies and social/Applied sciences.
At the College of Tooling Design Technology (CTDT), we are committed to fostering technological innovation in tool design.
